Hi,
New to the forum. I searched but did not find an answer. I am looking for a combo laser / light for mostly indoor home defense. Initially I will mount to my shotgun and down the line get the same for my AR. I found the two below which appear to have good reviews http://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-69240-Compact-Mounted-Tactical/dp/B0077RHYWQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top http://www.amazon.com/Sight-Green-Laser-Lumen-Flashlight/dp/B005580ZGG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=364A1YYZIEL1Y&coliid=IPZ2STQ6FUNQZ I saw good things here about Streamlights, however the bad reviews stated that the adjustment screws strip easily on this model. Any thoughts or suggestions? Looking to stay under $200. Thanks! |

Of the two I'd got with the Streamlight; search around though----you can get it cheaper than that. If you have issues with it Streamlight has great CS and will likely replace it for free. Here's my review of it: Quoted:

It seems from your vid that I want to bump up the lumens and perhaps go to a green laser. These things seem to get expensive fast though! So if I were to bump up the budget to $275ish, is Streamlight still the best option? I also am quickly approaching the cost of my shotgun.... The one thing that worries me is that my hd shotgun will typically remain untouched for long periods of time so I'm hoping these lithium batteries will do ok sitting and not ooze / explode like alkilines do after too long. I appreciate your input, thanks! |
