A friend (Justin Bootsy) we call him lil' Bootsy, anyway, he just bought one of the Laser max Lasers that fit on the rail.  Its very sleek and low profile and can be had in Red, green or Ir. My question to yall is...are these any good?  I hear very little on them but they seem to be cheaper and take up far less space than some of the "machines" people a fixing to thier rails...thanks for the input

The actual cost looks like this...
Red laser $125
Green laser $315
IR laser $350

I have the ir version and my only real complaint is the switch gets accidently bumped on easy.

The one I have (Lasermax Uni-Green) is very bright.  The cons are that it's very easy to accidentally turn it on and it eats batteries fairly quickly.  Mine stopped working twice.  Lasermax fixed it for free twice.

Exactly what these guys said, but mine has never quit working before.

Used the green on two pumps to iraq. Worked great but yes, the damn thing hogs batteries and the factory switch is horrible on a rifle. Get the pressure pad; works better and it has a built in kill switch that completely cuts off any potential to bump it on.
Had to send it back once after the laser stopped working (kinda my fault after I whacked it hard on the door of an MRAP) and they fixed it no questions asked. Good stuff.
Whos selling the IR version? Id like one for a pistol...

Do yourself a favor and get the LDI pistol laser.  The lasermax blooms the heck out of nog in pistol ranges.  The dot is literally the size of a basketball at 30 yards.
