Has anyone ever cut one down to expose the button more? I know it can be done but I'm not sure if I want to just yet, I may try to find a spare first. I was running it with a pressure switch but I'm too paranoid that the wire may get damaged and its gets in the way if I switch my support arm.

I have seen them cut down on Candle Power Forums, but IMO it looks like crap.

I just use the Z61 tailcap instead.

I found the best price on ebay.

ETA : I sold the original tailcap to offset the cost of the Z61.

I'll have to keep an eye out for one of those. Thanks.

There is also the harder to find Z54... I like it because its momentary rather than click on...

I prefer the momentary as its easier for me to manipulate under stress without turning the light fully on when I don't want it on...
