I have a newer model insight M6X light/laser I have used on my night stand hand gun, I recently got a new colt AR. Thoughts on the insight M6X on a AR platform? Thanks

light and compact,plenty of light.

Use one on my AR. Great light/laser combo that I got for a song. I might be having some trouble with the laser holding zero however. Will update when I know.

They are uesd with the long gun backplate - you can use any insight pressure pad. insight long gun

what is the differance between the long gun backplate and the regular back plate on the handgun version that I have ?
