Which would make a better light on a patrol rifle.  I work in more of an urban area and my current setup is a Surefire G2 LED in a Vtac mount.  I have also thought about the Vtac L4.  Any suggestions?

If you are comfortable with (or like) the G2 setup, consider just getting a Malkoff drop in and keeping everything else as it is.

I tired the SF x300 (similar to the TLR1) on my patrol rifle for a while but didn't like it, YMMV. One thing you should consider is the lack of a lockout switch on the TLR1, so you have to be careful about accidental activation and draining of the batteries.

I haven't tried the Vtac or Inforce lights yet but they both seem like very good options. In fact, the next weapon light I buy will probably be either a Vtac or Inforce.

ETA: For what its worth, I use a SF M300 Mini Scout on my patrol rifle.

Inforce WML Review

I have read the reviews and I like the Inforce light.  I also like the Streamlight and I have used them before. The G2 works but I think is kinda bulky looking, esp w/ the Vtac mount and the X300 is a little out of my price range.  So I was kinda hoping to hear from someone who has used both.

I went from a clicky tail cap polytac to the tlr1-s I have now and am very happy. The toggle switch is much quicker and foolproof. Pull or push left or right side toggle and you have light :) strobe is very disorienting as well. Tried it on myself and see it's use now! Got mine from botach two weeks ago for $81 shipped. They had 10% off but it's over now. You can still Probobly get it for 90 shipped I haven't checked though.
