I'm looking for recommendations on how to mount the Solarforce L2m to a carbine with M4 handguard. I prefer 10 oclock position. Please don't tell me to buy Surefire. I have what I have.

The L2m would use a 3P/6P mount.

You could use the IWC Mount N' Slot One Piece 1" Light Mount.

Get a railed forearm and then a Gear Sector 6P Mount

Hi,

We suggest this: TMC 1" Light MOUNT-N-SLOT for M4 Handguard

Select the 6P light from the drop-down filter and you're good to go.

Hmm that's a pretty neat setup if you don't want to go to a railed forearm. Looks like it might be hard to activate the light though.

Guess you could just drill two holes in the handguards and mount the light where ever you want to so it'll be easier to operate.

Another option would be to swap to a MOE handguard with a light kit.

Does your carbine have the standard FSB?

I have a 6P in a G&G mount, on a FSB rail.

Probably more of a 10:30 position, but works for me.
