Ok,
Been reading a bit around on lights and such, Yet still a bit confused. So I have the following weapons to put light and/or laser on... #1 My 20" black rifle...stag lower dpms upper, custom trigger, acog ta31f. Fixed stock and bipod #2 my 16" "carbine" nice parts, dressed in custom camo and just has irons on it so far. #3 my ar pistol 9" upper #4 my tactical shotguns. As u can see my normal shooter is the 20" What I'm lookin at is getting a light/laser system that can be used on as many of these platforms for shtf and personal defense I have a dedicated work rifle so no concern there. Anyhow my thoughts was to have as little differences in parts and usage for all weapons . So my ? Is...will the tlr2 do this reliablly? Is the a better option? Within the ballpark of this price range ? B |
| I've got a TLR-2 for my home defense pistol. It is pretty durable, though the light doesn't throw extremely far outside at night. I'm not sure why you want a laser...if mounted below it only has a small range where the round will hit as the laser is angled off the line of the barrel. Durability-wise, pretty nice little light... |
