Looking to keep things as light as possible. Will be mounting on a set of MOE HG's.  Looking for something around 100 lumen as for the mount,  again as light as possible.

I second the Surefire mini-scout light.  Very light, bright enough (110 lumens) and only one battery for two hours of run time.

Anyone try one of these yet? It's a laser/light combo and looks to be small and light. Wonder how it would run on a rifle..? Viridian

I want to say the M300 mini scout is 3.9oz with the gear sector offset mount replacing the factory mount.

Surefire G2L in a VTAC mount on one of those MOE rails
G2L 4.4oz
VTAC 1.7oz
MOE rail  unk oz (probably less than 1)

edit:  found a link w/ pic.  I would suggest mounting the rail at 12:00 and setting it to the right or left based on your orientation.
