I just replaced my dpms AR with a M&P15 MOE set up and I am looking for a mount for my flash light to attach to the moe hand guard or I have seen the ones that attach to the front site post but not sure how good those are.  I was using cheap mount from utg that came off an airsoft gun but I want something lighter easier to put on and take off and better made.  Is there anything that mounts to the MOE handgaurd without the rail attachment

You can add a rail to the MOE right? If so I suggest the Gear Sector mounts

IWC is set to release some new products this weekend. I have seen a preview of their flashlight mounts for MOE handguards and they look fantastic. Keep an eye out, as I am sure they are going to be posting them soon.

Thank for the kudos. However, simple is better and in this case ( MOE handguards ), the IWC offering looks to fit the bill perfectly.

Thanks for the heads up. I have seen the rails you can add to the moe handguards and was hoping there was a simpler all in one product available. Main reason for the moe setup is keeping the weapon light. Only thing I am putting on it is a light and the moe vfg

Definately keep your eye out the next couple of days. Earl should be announcing the new IWC weapon mounts for the MOE any day now.

Just hope my left handed handicap lol allows me to activate the light with out to much problem. Can it be mounted on the right side of the gun  for the lefties?

I believe there is also going to be a right side mount as well.

Those seem really far forward.

I use the Vikings tac mount with my G2's & a added small section of MOE rail.

Based on the length of the hand guard, they are not to far forward. They are far enough forward that the bezel can clear and or be in front of the FSB which is what you want. With the G2 mount you can slide the light fore and aft to get the position right for you.

I have a sample in hand for the SF Scout Light. No pictures yet, but it is a great mount for use on the MOE's. It is a work of art, in that, it does what it is supposed to do, is simple, and well made.

That looks perfect to me. I should have my G2 mount very soon and will do a full review. It looks like Earl and IWC once again hit one out of the park with this design IMO. Should sit the light just in from of the FSB and allow me to activate the light without moving my support hand which is exactly what I want in a mount.

Wow!  Spiffy as hell.  Talk about innovation.  That's quite different from what I've seen everywhere else.  Again, very nice.

I know "different strokes" and all that, but I like it that far forward...  In fact, I tried the short rail on top with a Viking Tactics mount and found it sat too far back.

I will definitely be in for 2 of these IWC mounts when the left handed versions come out.

Any idea of price on these.  I have a g2 led already just really need a mount. Really hoping to avoid buying the rail slot plus a mount, whole idea for my setup is light weight

IIRC Earl told me these would be like $34.95. I could be wrong though. Yeah I was wrong.. They go from $49.99 - $59.99.
