Is there a tailcap that fits the QD tapeswitches (SR07 etc...) that can be had for less than $130? I do not really care if it has the click switch on it or not. It does not have to be a Surefire but it needs to be quality

The UM00 is the plain socket type TailCap for standard-body SureFires such as the 6PL.
Remember there are experienced SureFire Dealers who when contacted directly can really help ensure you can get the best setup you can.

The XM07 is definitely what you want. Call brightflashlights.com, I bet they can get you a deal on just the tailcap (less switch) that will be tough to refuse. Another option is to buy a used M951/2 or M961/2 off eBay for around $100, take off the XM tailcap and replace it with your G2 or 6P tailcap and put it on the EE.
