I came across THESE.  I really love the concept, for most of the reasons listed in the hot link.  

What I don't like is the price.  They are real proud of their lights apparently.  I guess they have an iron clad patent.  I don't mind paying for quality though.  Are these things well built & durable & worth the money?

Unique concept.  Those retail prices don't seem too far out of line for U.S.-Made lights.
