| Well I have been looking into getting a weapon light for some time now. I think I have it narrowed down to just two, and would like to here from you guys that own one or the other (if you own or have handled both would be great). The two that I am trying to choose between are the Surefire 951 and the 961. So whats the hive's take on these two lights? |

I guess I am bias with our TNVC Drop in Lamps for the G2's that give a 2 hour continuous run time...BUT, more importantly, teamed up with a light weight V-Tac light mount, the weight savings down at the end of the gun is huge over the heavy 951/961 platforms. I still scratch my head as to why folks would still opt for heavy lights over a simple G2 with a high output LED that work incredibly well in this day in age of LED technology. Hope this helps.
