I need a light on my new BCM 14.5 and wanted to keep it's M4 hanguards. Is a front sight mount for a
Surefire ok or are there handicaps to a tower mounted light. I'm right handed so which side is best?

thanks in advance

Our Elzetta ZFH1500 is a very popular and cost-effective means of mounting a light to your gun with standard handguards.

The ZFH1500 provides completely ambidextrous operation and its low profile design adds no width to your rifle.

Shown below is our new 235-Lumen Elzetta ZFL-M60 Weapon Light in an OD Green ZFH1500 (Thumb Screw Model):

Your little FSB 2-rail doodad would be a good place to start too.

With only one cup of coffee under my belt eyes could you explain? I was really thinking
of a light mounted high alongside the FSB tower. I've seen them in pics before I was interested in lights.

Whoops.

For some reason when I did a Google image search, I mistakenly associated Elzetta with the mount that I found.

I sent you a link to something a little better perhaps than the one I initially discovered.

Edit:

I didn't send you a link as you have IMs turned off.

Here's the link:
