I am trying to decide between an offset and a regular flashlight mount.  I know this is probably an individual preference, but I have never used either so would not know what I would prefer more.  I use a vertical fore grip with kind of a modified half on the fore-end and half on the vertical grip. Any advice you have would be very helpful.

If you're using a Vert forward grip...you should consider an offset.

This way you don't need remote switches for the light; you can use your weak hand thumb.

The DD offset is GREAT and will hold a Surefire tightly for 1000's of rounds.

We have found that when using vertical foregrips, offset mounts work the best for most people.

We designed our ZORM and ZROC mounts specifically with this in mind, keeping the devices as low-profile as possible.

When using a VFG I like to have the offset mount.
