currently bidding on what may be a defective m951. it's sold as is. it's stated that it is missing the pressure switch, but is pictured with the standard tailcap. it's my understanding that the tailcap has a push button clicky thing as well as the pressure switch. am i right? will it work without the pressure switch without danger to me/the light? ie: some sort of discharge from not having the pressure switch plugged in?

it will work just fine without the pressure pad, the pad is actually removeable so its made to work without it.  Also you could add a different tail cap if you wanted to

Good light but heavy and will take a lot of rail space.
