Looking to see if anyone knows about an LED replacement for the Millennium m961xm07, the 9 volt/3 battery model? I like the light output, however the battery life sucks!!

SureFire are exhibiting at SHOT Show 2009 starting on 15th January.
I'm sure plenty of people are interested to see whether they have progressed their "KL9" proto-type shown last year at SHOT Show 2008 into a product they are getting ready to release.

The KL9 LED bezel was intended to be the high output replacement for the discontinued KL6.

That KL-9 lighthead is exactly what I'm talking about. Is that not going to happen now or is that something that we may see in the near future? I would sure like to get my hands on one. I'd rather spend the money on the right part then spend $150 on a light to tear apart and cobble one together.

It won't take very long to find out whether the KL9 (no "-") is still on the cards - SS2009 is next week!
