I have two Bushmaster rifles, one M4A2, & one M4A3. Both have M.I. Carbine Length Two Piece Forearms and Grip-pods installed. I am looking for a light / laser for both of these rifles and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the Streamlight TLR-2 on a rifle. Is the laser accurate enough for 25-50 yards? I plan on mounting it on the bottom rail and at the end of that rail closest to the front sight. I like the TLR-2 because it uses the same C4 LED that is in my Stinger DS LED flashlight and it is EXTREMELY bright and seems to last forever between charges. Also it can share the stockpile of surefire batteries that I already have for my L4. I also plan on using the remote switch for the TLR-2. If anyone has any suggestions, experiences or comments please feel free to reply. Thanks

I think I have decided on a laser / light setup. I'm going to try out a LaserMax LMS-UNI red laser and a surefire scout led light and see how I like that setup. I dont really want my light and laser to be one unit since If it fails then I don't have a light or laser. And if I have seperate units then the odds are pretty good that I will still have one of them to use.

I took it off and put it back on my .45. It's to small for the AR, hard to operate well. The light/laser works great but the AR needs something more powerful.
