Why in the hell are the Surefire M910A's so expensive? I would love to have one, but just can't see paying half the price of my gun for it. Are they really that great?

Everything that Surfire puts it's name to is WAY expensive. There are alot of companies putting out quality product for alot less .

name one that puts out a product thats the equal to the m900-m910?

They're less expensive if you buy used.

I think they are way too heavy. And with the advances in led lights, the M600C scout light puts out almost as much light and weighs and cost about half as much.

Surefire 6P with Malkoff M60 will solve your problem and be a lot lighter and a lot cheaper.
