Who's rock'n them? How do they rate? The question is, should I buy 1 or 2 of them? I want one for my mothers shotgun, because it will be my first LED light, wich should hold up best on the shotgun, but I might want one on my space gun. Lets see what they look like in a mount? I was wundering on a railed handguard, do you need "high" rings to keep the huge bezel off the rail? |
| I actually just bought a tactical light package from Botach for $99. It came with a vertical hand grip, Super Tac, and the rings to attach it. I absolutley love the light. It throws the light very far. I couldn't think of a better light. I plan on ordering another one very soon. I'll post pics for you later. |
I'm not sure I understand your question? I'm using my 500 lumen sportsans guide light at 100-150 yards with a 6X scope. Last night I heard the cows bellering so I went out and checked, with this rig I could stand in one place and see all the cows in the field (40 acres), some were probably 150 yards away. IF I had seen a cougar eating a calf at the far end, I'm confident I could have taken it. I decided not to buy a supertac due to mounting problems, but I am running a scorpion and can see out to 100 with it, but you REALLY need magnification to identify your target at that distance. THat's mostly just my CQB rig. |
| I was looking for a light to give me a good sight at around 100 yds for night Coyote and hog hunting. I did by the Super Tac. It fit my need and works great. I can see easily to around 100 yds. I too two 1 inch scope rings with a small piece of rubber inserted and made a goood mount to put it on my ar. |
