OK, so I picked up a Surefire M600C this weekend and mounted it to my LMT SBR. I
do NOT use tape switches so I use the thumb switch. Problem is that it sits so close to
the rail that it is difficult to manipulate. What are some good mounting options for this
light (like offset mounts or spacers)? Thanks.

I think I amswered the question for myself, I am just going to order a YHM 3 slot 1/2" rail riser.

I would get the offset adapter (maybe M76 or M79?) before using another rail. Call BrightFlashlights to check on model number for this mount. I use one and love it.

Not sure if anyone makes an offset mount for the Scout. I would replace the body with a E series body, you can get a used one for around $30. Then you could use just about any offset mount.

How about SureFire's M76 mount?

And this mount is awesome for the Scout. You can put the light exactly where you want it.

I got the YHM spacer in yesterday. It works ok but I do think I will get an M76. Thanks
for the advise guys.

I don't like how far out the spacers put the lights. With the M76 you can tuck that sucker in close or put it out as needed.
