I've got an ACB on my M4 and was looking at light mounts.  Anyone have an ACB and light?  What do you use?

Ended up with Viking Tactics mount, Surefire G3 and XM07 dual switch.  VT mount on top rail, light ends up offset to right of gas block.  Will post pics later.

FWIW - it might actually help to know what an "ACB" is........

a link or pic might be helpful here as my "ACB" google search came back with Ameican Council of the Blind and America's Community Bankers..... and the acroynym list has only ACOG and ACR.

Sorry, ACB is Tango Down's Advanced Combat Bipod.

FWIW, in my case with a bipod installed; my ARMS mount Pentagon light would have to be positioned on the right side rail preferably within reach of my thumb w/ my hand on the VFG (which hopefully fits behind that TD bipod) - as to what you'll do - I suggest you review all your options "before" spending any money.

ps - ymmv, but no way I'd be toting a bipod on my "go-to" in the middle of the night type rifle, too much weight and un-necessary; whereas the light could be useful, unless we are entering the how much junk can I hang off my AR15 rails contest here....

Here's a couple of pics, bipod legs down

And up.

FWIW, I checked with TangoDown to see what they would suggest...they suggested reversing the mount and have it legs forward.  I think I'd just as soon take it off as do that.

Saw recently where someone mounted theirs on the top rail.  Decided to try and it it works out just fine!

What the BG's see

Once the weather sorts itself out, I'm going to do a little painting...got some krylon ultra flat khaki 4291 and brown 4292.  Already did the redi mag in the 4291, just have to decide how to do the rest of the rifle...
