Has anybody had any experience using a Malkoff led module for a weapon light? I'd also be interested in experiences with genral flashlight conversion use as well.

Only as a handheld so far...I just put it on my rifle, will test it next week...
I have a 60L in a G2 and its extremely bright, has solid throw and is very clear. If you get the emails letting you know some items are online for sale, you'll understand why they're gone in milliseconds....

I have two Surefire Scout lights with the LU60 heads and the Malkoff LED modules.
Absolutely no issues at all is use with both the M92 and MRP SBRs.
I also have two in Surefire 6P handheld lights, and they are also superb.

I just got a Malkoff M60 module in the other day and put it in my G&R Tactical weapon light.  It's a pretty incredible upgrade - great throw with a bright center, and a clean, smooth spill that illuminates the surrounding area nicely.  It totally shreds the P61 head - the light is much brighter and whiter, and the run time is 1.5+ hours vs 20 minutes.

It's too bright for indoor use for me - playing with it the last few days, it completely wipes out my night vision if I use it in close quarters with light colored walls - but that's not what I use this light for.

I'm always tempted by the lower-priced drop-ins, and will try some for my hand-helds, but the the Malkoff excels in quality of the throw and spill combined.

He has some available right now. Jump on it, they'll be gone in a few hours.

Just installed one on my M951.  I like it... VERY bright.I had to tweak the module's spring to contact the battery but it works fine now. I was thinking about getting a small copper shim for later.
