Right now I am Using a Vltor mount with a G2 that has a bigger aluminum bezel.. It is now mounted to a VIS2 and the Bezel hits the rail..

Does Vltor or anyone else make a mount the lowers the light about 1/4inch more??

Thanks

You want to raise the light off the rail a fraction more don't you?  The Surefire M79 mount is an ideal solution --

I'm using a Midwest Industries MI#03 Tactical Rail & Vertical Grip, with a FAB Defense PLS 1 - Flashlight Side Mount, holding a Surefire 9P with a Solarforce Cree Q5 drop-in.

I can't testify how tough it is, cause I haven't mistreated it yet.  But I got a descent 230 lumen weapon light for about $165 total.

If you look closely, you can see where I had to trim the vertical grip some with a Dremel to get adequate clearance.  Once that was done, it worked like a charm.
