I need an offset mount for my surefire G2.
I've tried a command arms and wasn't all that impressed, it cracked while mounting the light so I'm going to get an RMA after the holidays.

I'm seriously thinking Daniel Defense. This weapon is going to go through a carbine class and then be a duty gun.

Are there any other decent choices that are sturdy?

I went with the Daniel Defense PAK

My G2 with optional Surefire Z32 shock isolated bezel and Z49 push button tailcap

+1 DD PAK model

I've been using mine now for a couple of years and I'm very satisfied with it, If I want to get a better quality and a little more cost than the DD I would go with LaRue Tactical offset QD mount.

That's the mount I'm considering.
is anyone lower priced than the LEO/Dealer price from Brownells ? ($60.75)

I'm going to use a G2 with a Cree Q5 drop in that blows the P91 lamp out of the water.

Try to get a quote from Calvin of BrightFlashlights which is a site dealer/ sponsor, I've always got great prices from them.

Picked up the DD pak model at a gunshow.

Nicely made and mounts easily. It does put the light just a bit too far out away from the gun for my comfort due to small hands, but I can get used to it and deal with it.

I did have a CAA UHF3 that cracked and I'm waiting on the replacement, but since this is going on a duty gun I think metal is the way to go.

I mounted my Wolf Eyes Sniper with Cree Q5 module on the gun and it fits well, feels good and throws a nice amount of light.

BTW, paid under $60.00 out the door for the mount.
