| I contacted them (Hayes Research) first. They told me that the Dot size was in their 2.5mil radian divergence spec. They even tested another 40 or so units and they were all the same size. I requested a return and was sent an email saying ALL SALES ARE FINAL. So, here I am trying to salvage the POS that was sent me into something that is usable for something other that CQB applications. help |

www.hayesresearch.com/termsandconditions.sc Seems to me you fkd yourself by not reading the terms of your purchase, especially where it says "Please be sure of what you're purchasing." If you expect a Walmart return policy you should ask if they have one. What is your application to where a 9 MOA dot is way too large at 100 yards? Did Hayes misrepresent this product for your application? Did you ask? |

My application is POI designator. If my target is completely enveloped by the Laser Dot then there is no way to designate a POI. Targets are Coyotes,Racoons, and Fox. I was led to believe that this would perform this task. It will perform it at under 20 yards but I rarely get a shot that close.hinking.gif It is obvious that this is a CQB Laser and should be advertised as such. If I were a company selling a product ( I sell Electrical Industrial Equipment Daily.) and a customer purchased the wrong item, I would try to swap it out for what he really needed ( I do this as SOP.) in order to maintain good customer relations and get return orders. ( I have the awards/promotions and Bonus checks to prove this works.) I have multiple applications for an IR Laser. I have already found another source for a complete IR laser (not just the module) and purchased a product that gives a less than 2 inch dot at 100 yards. If Hayes had worked with me to solve this problem I would have bought other items from them. No more IWAL 2 fiasco's for me.hes |
