| Ok, so I found the Youtube video and a site that advertises the laser but now way to buy (paypal says no.) I have called the number, left a message, and nothing. The wolverine website goes nowhere. I saw a post a few days ago stating that they sell any size laser for stuff like the TLR-2 but cant find it now. When I click on the conversion topic it takes me just to the NVG forum. I have done several searches and found nothing (the 1min wait is a pain). There is nothing about this laser or company, what is the deal. |
There was a thread awhile back about how the Feds don't like this business. IIRC, much of the their merchandise was confiscated. eta: I don't think it was old enough to be archived... perhaps the thread was deleted? |
| Don't buy an IWAL 2 module unless you want a large 9 inch dot at 100 yards. Also Hayes will not take it back ---- All sales final.has |
| The laser in my wolverine is messed up. It has more of a line than a dot. I took it out of the housing to try it, thinking that the glass was possibly distorting the laser, but it made no difference. Unfortunately(or fortunately) I didn't get it sent back before the raid. Anyone know where I could get a different diode to put in it? Thanks! I wish the best for Tim. I hope he can get back to business soon! |
It isn't messed up the lens is simply out of adjustment. IM inbound for instuctions to adjust to a nice round dot. IPSC_GUY SIERRA II ALPHA |
| I found some diodes online but the problem seems to be getting a housing and a way to focus them. I looked at replacing the one in my M6 but there is no way to get the thing out. I have tried a couple of other lasers and the modules are all sealed. The only way to do it would to be to get a module that exact same size and slap it in. Easier said than done. I have seen one place that sells laser housings for your own diode but good luck finding a weapon mount with ajustment to fit that housing. |
