Does anyone make a flashlight mount for an AR15 that does not require tactical/picatinny rails?  I would like to mount a SureFire light to my rifle but I do not want to invest in a set of rails.

SureFire has a few solutions for you....

www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/271/sesent/00

Check out the barrel mount and the front sight mounts...

Midwest has a mini barrel mount rail that can take a normal rail mount light...

Also there are is this interesting light solution found at Airsoft Atlanta

And if you enter "AR15 integrated hand guard light" into a google image search you will find some other stuff such as this mini rail that actually attaches to the plastic stock guard...

That should get you started....Cheers
