I need a light for my AR15, but I don't want to spend $300 for a Millenium series weaponlight. I was thinking about buying a 6P, a Surefire shock isolated bezel, a Surefire clicker tailcap, and a Viking offset light mount. This setup will cost about $125.

Is there any reason this won't be good enough to use on a rifle?

Other than looking cool and having a hard anodized finish is there anything that makes the weaponlight better?

Your setup should be good enough, it's hard anodized, and the shock isolated bezel is a must have option.

You got a better light than I have on my home defense M4 carbine, I only have a SF G2 with SF shock isolated and clicker tailcap.

I've got mine for over a year now and no problems.

+1 for Calvin aka BrightFlashlights.
