Would this be strong enough for use as a weapon light?  I have only used the shock isolated bezel in the past but want to try this out if It's strong enough.

Thanks

it's plenty strong enough, it puts out 100 lumens for I think 1 hour.  Im buying one soon to put on my Surefire M951 weapon light

I have a Surefire L-5 which is the KL-5 head and it's amazingly bright.  It won't just screw on to the 951 on it's own.  You have to buy the isolator ring that goes between it and the body.  It's not the same one that comes on the 951.  Call Brightflashlights (I just talked to Kevin about this exact setup) and ask them.  They can hook you up.

The L5 is essentially an M2 with the KL5 bezel instead of the M2 bezel.

The M95 Series uses the LU60 Lamp Module which uses the "M2" bezel.

I've swapped out the bezel of an M95 for a KL5. The caution is that you must remove any plastic insert from the LU60 adapter

thanks for all the input
I'd actually be using this on a 6P body with Z48 tail cap and Larue offset mount
