I have two ARs which I am setting up right now.

One is a Colt 6721 (HB) and the other is a Colt 6920

I need to go with new lights.

I am going to run the LaRue 7.0 rail

I have a Surefire M910 and a A031076 (is that the M96?  3 batteries and the combat bezel) with the ARMS Mount.

Id rather use a CQD, Tango down or ACE VFG

What is going to be a smaller lighter light?

Are people using pressure pads as much?
Id really like the end cap which has a pulse on off button and a pressure pad to mount on a VFG.

Kinda thinking the Surefire Scout light might be nice???
Or
Would I be better off just keeping the two I have and getting the upgraded switch for the M96 as mines just a push button)?

If you're happy with the light output from your M910 & M962 then I'd keep those and just pick up the XM tailcap for the 962.  If you specifically don't like the size or weight of the 962 you can switch to the 6v module for it or consider a new light system such as the SF Classic or Scout lights.

Why is the Scout better than the 962?

Im going to keep playing with the 910, I am just not sure as I have changed my grip and really cant tell how the Surefire VFG is going to work till I play with it some more.

What are the hot sellers out there for the uber cool armchair comandos these days?

I know the 900 Series was HOT for a bit but I know its slowed down quite a bit.

I think it is too heavy to run on my 6721 but I may run it on the 6920.

Still waiting to see what new exciting thing Crimson Trace has coming out at SHOT for the AR!

I wasn't saying it was, I was just noting that if you wanted less size & weight the Classic & Scout series are excellent options.
