Anyonr try this out?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have never compared the 2 myself but I have heard that the Surefire just feels like a better unit and the switch on the Surefire is far superior to the TLR one, as to who has a better throw of light I don't know

I've heard a lot of people like the TLR better.  There was a post about it a few months ago here and the general concensis was that the TLR was equal if not better and half the price.

I've ordered a TLR1 but don't own a SureFire x200 so I can't advise there.

i own both,
i like the surefire switch because of the "push" momentum switch vs the TLR flip momentum switch.

The beams are pretty diff x200 with LED is squared and look a bit weird while the TLR is circular and bluer than the X200.

i will take pics when i get home from work tonight hopefully, if not then i'll do it tomrorow.

I've got the TLR1 and 2. Both are great lights. They project a nice circular "hot spot" and a lot of ambient light. I was patroling late shift and stopped about 60 yards from a barn. It gave me enough light to see what I would need to. It's not a 910 but then it doesn't weigh near as much. I use the TLR1 on y Glock and the TLR2 on my M4 with a vert grip. Nice, lite weight combo.
Also my other job is selling tavtical equipment and we sell Surefire and Streamlight. So I can compare the 2 side by side. For the price and features I went with the TLR.

They all have their pros & cons it is simply a matter of what you need & perhaps what your budget will allow.

-- SF X200B:

Massive amount of flood & white light performance that is superior for close quarters use.  Downside is that it will have less throw and is insufficient at ranges exceedng 25-30 yds.

-- SF X200A:

The X200A has a more focused beam that won't yield near as much flood as the B model but is still sufficient for indoor/close quarter use.  Because it is more focused it will push on out to 40-45+ yds. of good clear visibility so it would be better for those in a more rural environment.  I also feel the A is better suited for rifle use due to the longer throw.

-- SL TLR-1 & 2:

Beam performance is incredible, it won't have as much flood as the X200B but it does yield more than the X200A.  The throw is where the TLR's really shine (), they'll actually exceed 50-60 yds. of good clear visibility and that makes it ideal for handgun & rifle use.  The only possible downside is the accessory lineup, there are future offerings that'll be available but Surefire has an extensive lineup of backplates to fit many models & applications.
