I just got a m-6 and have a question!!! I was wanting to mount it to my AR and was wondering if I need to buy a mount? I have seen the mounts to accomplish this!! Now if I buy a quad rail system will the light mount on it or do I need the mount? Thanks!!!

It will go on any old rail or the Streamlight specific mount.  It is a Streamlight we're talking about right?

GG&G makes one


I've heard that if you try to put it onto a rail it will stretch it out and it won't fit on your pistols anymore.  I'd go with a mount that was specifically designed for it.  When I first read your post I thought you were just looking for a mount to attach to the handgaurds.
