Sorry guys I tried a search, checked all these pages, and still haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.  I'm looking for a remote switch for a Streamlight M6.  I've had this M6 sitting here for a while on my Glock, and I was at the local police and fire store when i stumbled across a mount to attach my M6 to my AR15, so I bought it immediately.  Now where can I find a remote pressure switch that will work for the M6?  Any ideas?

Thanks I tried that same google search....lol.  I found a few, but I was hoping to find someone on this site, because I've had some good luck buying from here.  I've emailed BrightFlashlights and have received some responses as well, so we'll see which one I go with.  Thanks for the link

I can't comment on the overall quality on the products at this site, but since I am no longer concerned about day to day hostile situations, I am using a pressure switch from TacStar.

tacstar.com/tacstar/index.htm

Their PSEC-2 is a remote pressure switch with a coiled stretch wire that has an end cap that fits the SF-6P, and other lights of the same mfg.  I use mine on a Pelican MX6.  Works fine.

About $20.

Funny you should mention that because this is for my personal AR which has trunk duty in my cruiser.  What are the drawbacks on having a pressure switched Streamlight M6?

One thing I can say is that this switch seems to resist incidental operation, if that is a concern.  Mine takes a fairly determind amount of pressure to activate.  Most switch mounting methods I have seen, incorporate, basically, large, black rubber bands over the forearm to hold the switch in place.  There are more sophisticated, commercially available products using velcro and other materials.  One of the common and CHEAP methods that works involves bicycle inner tubes.

thanks for the opinions and links.  I've made my decision and I'm going to "pull the trigger" on it tomorrow and get one through BrightFlashlights.com.  Calvin was very quick w/ his replies and he's gotten good reviews thus far so why not.

Here's the pressure switch mounted.  I went w/ a more non-conventional location.  Here's the finished product:

Again a very big thanks to Calvin, from brightflashlights for getting the switch and nylon band to me so quickly!!!

That's pretty much how I have mine arranged on my truck gun.  Since I hold onto the mag well with my support hand, that's the place for the switch.  The difference is I used nylon cable ties to secure the cord to the fore end.

I'll be configuring my house gun the same way in the near futue (thank to Calvin!).
