I need some help comparing some LED lights. I own a Surefire L2, and love the beam on the this light, but the throw on the light is a little weak for a weaponlight. I have thought about mounting a Surefire L4 on my AR, but would like to know how some other lights compare to the Surefire L4. Please compare the following lights in throw and beam to the SF L4. Pentagon L2 and L3 Night-Ops Gladius Sidespill of light is one of the most important things to me. Does any other light compare to the SF L4 in sidespill but have a little more throw? Also does anyone know what ring I would need to mount a Surefire L4 if I go with that light? Thanks Steve |
The Gladius & Pentagon L2 both have significantly better range over the L4, but neither have quite the flood. Your closest option to the L4, but with greater throw, is the Surefire L5. You can use the Vltor E series mount with your L4. |
