Does Surefire have a double-secret-probation catalog or website? I am pretty sure I've heard that they offer various parts, lamps, body housings, etc separately, but can't seem to find anything on their website. Any ideas?

Use their search feature.

SureFire's website is more of an online "shop" then a reference database of all their products and options.
Normally, SureFire's .com website only has things they have lots of in stock.
For example, Dealers will get priority over the .com shop for new products. That's why it takes a while for new products to get on the .com

There are four main routes to finding things that SureFire makes that are not on it's .com

1) Make friends with a SureFire Dealer and get them to help you.
2) Call SureFire directly
3) Ask your in-the-know friends and colleagues who have the kit you want.
4) Ask online at discussion forums such as this one.

I'm not in a position to know exactly but I'd guess the surefire.com shop has about 30% of the stuff they make. Perhaps less. (Much less if you include the discontinued models and options that are sitting on the shelves of Dealers around the world).

Bright flashlights is a fantastic source of individual SF parts/components. And is knowledgeable enough to tell you what you need upon your description.

I'm hoping he can come up with a set of the bikini scope type covers for my SF 900A to replace my old style that do not attach to the bezel when not in use.  I'm wanting the ability to keep them on the light at all times.

By all means, ask me anything, I don't proclaim to know it all but I do love the modularity of Surefire and have tried to learn everything I can.  We also try to stock an extensive assortment of parts for immediate repair or customization so you can have exactly what you need.

Calvin went out of his way to help me with a cheap mounting solution for an AR light.   The price of the mount (and the small profit margin) was hardly worth the effort he spent helping me find a solution, but he spent the time to IM me with info and prices anyway.  The mount showed up at my door two days later, even though my Paypal didn't clear for three days.

Calvin is the best guy to deal with anywhere, period!
