stated that you can remove the light and install a plug for training. Can you do that with All the 500 models? I never heard of this feature.

Yes, all the later production units come with a plug/cover to keep out debris when the light module is removed. Older models may not have the plug or if you buy something 2nd hand you would need to ask if it was included.

Mine is an older model and it has the plug.
