Well Calvin comes through again.
Placed an order Monday, Wednesday afternoon it's delivered.  I mean what can you say about service like this except that it sets the standard!

Thanks BF!

Here's a photo of the result.

p.s.  Love the Samson MRFS-C on my Bushy A2.

Very nice! Get the Tango Down Rail Cover with the pocket for your tape switch.

Grant, you should recognize that Surefire weaponlight and Tangodown rail cover with pocket, I got both of them from you (LOL)!

I like how the YHM 5 slot angle mount I got from Calvin sets the light a little lower and out from the rail cover making room for my fingers on the pressure pad since I'm not a big fan of verticle grips.
Here you can see how I skillfully (NOT) modified the rail cover to fit on the SAMSON MRFS-C and it's solidly locked between the YHM mount and the lower clamp of the Samson. The slide in small tape pocket can also be removed to make room for the larger OTAL laser tape switch, or the light & tape switch can be retained and the OTAL tape switch added to a similar panel on the other side.

And for reference, the other side with the modified (to cover the Samson clamp) non pocket Tangodown rail cover.

Do any of you have any information when Tangodown may be releasing longer rail covers?
On this particular rifle I'd like to replace the lower rail cover & piece with a hopefully soon to be announced longer 1 piece trimmed to fit, or I may just have to go with two cut rail covers which will be convenient for use with the ARMS Harris bipod setup.

Ooops, sorry  I couldn't tell from the pic that it was the pocket rail cover! I would also think about flipping that YHM mount around so you can put the light at either the 11 or 1 position (which is the optimal position). With the light being that low, you cannot shoot over barricade (car or whatever).

Grant, you must be a mind-reader!
I've been in the process of reversing the YHM mount to do just that.  Checking for clearance with the OTAL also, and deciding on position of the ARMS mounts on both.
I really doubted that I'd use the OTAL and the Surefire both on this rifle, but after mounting both, well I can see why you like the combination so much.

Well after messing around with every conceivable configuration, I'm back to this one.
It's lightest, most compact, allows easy and quick mounting of the OTAL laser on the top rail, gives plenty of room for grasping the handguards and activating the tape switches on both sides easily for the Surefire and the OTAL laser.
I'll still have to mock it up, but for use with the 2.5" Turbohead with flip up red filter on the Surefire, the YHM angle bracket or a pair of riser blocks may be a necessity.
