I'm looking for a one system setup that I can move from AR to pistol to shotgun. Looking at rail type units. I have a S.I.R. on my AR and a rail on my Glock and shotgun. Just saw and add for the Streamline M6X. I like the looks of this unit, but was wondering what the equivalent is in Surefire. I like the Surefire light range 225lum vs the 125 of the M6X . I'd like to put as much blinding light on my target as possible yet be convenient on both pistol and rifle. I'd like to have something I could put on my pistol or rifle quickly if needed and remove when not needed. Thanks for any input. My shopping has begun. |
No, the Surefire P & M series handgun systems are not transferable as they use proprietary design intended to fit their trigger guard mounts. You can modify the locking lug where you can attach it direct but there will be a small amount of play felt when mounted. The weight of the M series on your Glock rail may not be advised, depending upon caliber and load choice failures may occur. Your simplest choice for having one transferable to all three firearms is the ITI M3X & M6X or the SF X200A/B series LED systems. |
