Can I get some opinions on these two types of light activators?  Which would be better for CQB vs. patrol.  Could I also get some opinions on the tactical use of each and where one would be better than the other.  Also, would a 6v surefire (6P) light be sufficient for CQB vs. a 9v (9P)?  I know this is a lot to ask, but this will help me make a better choice.

Thanks.

I agree with the consensus in the thread posted by AK_Mike. Tape switches pose a liability.

Tape Switch = illuminating yourself or back lighting the guy in front of you! The DEVGRU or Charlie tailcap is the best choice IMHO.

6 volt is fine indoors and for close engagements outdoors.   Since more is usually better, I prefer 9 volt lights.
