I like that flashlight mount.......
My only question is how do you remove the front sling loop?  Is it easy to take off?

This is just a cut and paste from the AR Discussion page.  The credit for this info goes to GreenLine.

...All you need is a 1/8" (I think) punch and a hammer. Notice that one side of the rivet is dimpled...simply place the punch tip in the middle of the dimple and tap with the hammer until it comes out. The rivet is cheap so don't worry if you damage it. Also, you may want to tape around the front sight housing and barrel to avoid marring the finish if you slip with either the punch or the hammer

Yea I used a dremel with a drill bit, just make sure to tape eveything else so if the bit slips, it wont scratch the barrel/front sight.

What else needs to be done to attach the D&D light mount to the handguards?  Any drilling needed?

How are your experiences with this light mount (good and bad)?

Thanks,
Gabe
