Hey! What happened to my favorite knock-around/
camping light?? Discontinued in favor of this
Nitrolon kid? Anybody still selling the 3P?

The SureFire 3P was discontinued a long time ago now. The E1 and E1e have since replaced it.
There is no single SF123A Nitrolon SureFire flashlight.

Personally, I found the 3P too big for it's light output and runtime. The E1e is smaller, more compact, with a slightly whiter beam and a longer runtime, and with features like the LockOut TailCap, PocketClip, Pyrex Lens, Hard Anodised to Mil. Spec. Level III, Anti-roll bezel, and with the KL1 Luxeon Bezel soon to be released for it, I feel the E1e-HA is a far better flashlight.

That's not to say SureFire have stopped supporting their 3P. The Lamp Assemblies are still available, it uses the same Bezel and TailCap as many other Classic SureFires, so replacement parts should not be a problem.

Where to buy one now... I suggest running a search for "SureFire 3P" and seeing what you come up with.

I seriously suggest you take a look at the E1e-HA.

Al
