Does anyone know of a sling swivel that will fit the lower most hole on the Magpul CTR buttstock ?  Thanks

You mean that super small hole at the bottom point on the stock? You could probably look some paracord through it and make something work, but I am pretty sure no one makes anything for it.

Use a key ring or bull ring and then attach to that.

That be the one. Can't find anything at the usual sources, may take TX Critter suggestion, I just wanted something clean. Thanks

Any reason why you need an attachment point there? There are already two slots and a QD point on the stock.

I'm using the OEM loop on the front sight base, and using the QD point it wants to cant the rifle sideways when carrying on my shoulder.

What kind of sling are you using?

1.25" straight nylon web belt with QD swivel on the butt end.

Did you try and use the angled slot on the CTR?

I'm using side sling mounts at the front end, if I'm going to be on the move I use the one at the front sight base, if I'm mostly shooting I use the the one near the delta ring (rear end of the rail).

My sling is a LaRue Tactical 2 point padded sling made for them by Viking Tactics and my stock is a Magpul STR with the QD sling attachment cup mounted at the right side (I'm a right handed shooter).

Using the sling loop at the bottom of the front sight base will cause your weapon to twist sideways, use a side mounted sling mount either on the barrel under the front sight base or on your side rail if you have a rail system.

Take a 1/8" punch and knock out the pin that holds the sling mount on and throw it away.  That's a parade sling mount and not good for anything.

Get a g.i. barrel mounted side sling mount, a rail mount, or one of the Blu Force Gear wire things that loops around the FSB.
