| Does anyone know of a sling swivel that will fit the lower most hole on the Magpul CTR buttstock ? Thanks |
I'm using side sling mounts at the front end, if I'm going to be on the move I use the one at the front sight base, if I'm mostly shooting I use the the one near the delta ring (rear end of the rail). My sling is a LaRue Tactical 2 point padded sling made for them by Viking Tactics and my stock is a Magpul STR with the QD sling attachment cup mounted at the right side (I'm a right handed shooter). Take a 1/8" punch and knock out the pin that holds the sling mount on and throw it away. That's a parade sling mount and not good for anything.
Get a g.i. barrel mounted side sling mount, a rail mount, or one of the Blu Force Gear wire things that loops around the FSB. |
