Does anyone know the proper name for the type of thumb nuts used on the surefire M49 weapons light mount is, and where they might be purchased?
I have done searches on thumb nuts but can't find a match
Surefire wont sell them. I would like to buy some and swap them out on some of my other mounts.

Take one to a good hardware store.  They can determine quickly the thread size and rate and fix you up.
