I just got this from LaRue Tactical. It's a rubber Magazine Well plug. Just wondering if anyone else has used it?

Techline Mag Well Plug
There are many instances when you are unable to carry, transport or store your rifle in adverse conditions with a magazine in-place. This clever device is designed to protect your rifle's internals from sand, dirt and dust.

The Techline Mag Well Plug is one-piece molded in durable black silicone. It can not break, shatter or fail. It fits into any mag well that accepts standard military-issue 5.56 magazines. Once it is in place, it cannot slide out without being pulled firmly by the ring.

Which of the "many instances" did you buy one for?  Do you plug your barrel too?  Not in the habit of carrying around my AR without a mag unless it is cased so just curious.

Also I see Techline is out of PA.  Do you have any affiliation with the company?  It's your first post so people will want to know if you're shilling for this company.

Honestly my 1 AR is typically in storage and figured it would be a good way to keep dust and grime out of the mag well. Secondly (and prob the biggest factor) is I was told to order something from LaRue to get the swag and the Dillo Dust lol

You established that you are a paramedic in another thread on here.  You sure you're not a certain Techline instructor with the initials ckh whose paramedic cert ends in 871.  That would make more sense to me and I like dillo dust.

My senses were tingling at the OP as well.

Did a little more digging and the initials thing does match up...

Wow, there's some pretty darn good detective work going on in this thread.
And a fair bit of shilling too.
IBTL.

Damn! I used too many emoticons.
I'm going to my room.

There is a Team Member on the board that works for Techline, I can't remember his screen name

I'll try and find his business card, he has been around for a few years and not a 2015 join date
