| Looking for new grip. My lower came with a standard A2 style, but I dont like it. The gun is currently set up in a pistol format until my paperwork comes in for my SBR. I found a good deal on a Troy Battle grip, $10, but turns out its a little short and thin for me plus it rubbs my middle finger on the trigger guard a bit. I do like the more vertical angle of the grip versus the old school angle. Has anyone used the new steeper angle grips with SBR or regular AR's, do they do what the grips say or are intended? Who all is making them; Magpul, BCM, Umbrells Corp? |
| The sky is the limit on grips. Mako, Magpul,, Hogue, BCM, Tango, UTG and the list goes on. Just be advised that each grip gives a different feel. Some are very wide, some angle differently, some have finger grips, a few are adjustable. As everyone's hands are different, it is impossible to say which grip is best for you I prefer the stock A2 because it has a narrow grip but that's just my taste. Go to a store that has different grips in stock and see how they fit your hand. |

I know the sky is the limit with standard AR grips, but I'm looking at the new steeper angle grips. Who has first hand knowledge of with these grips and did you pick just one or go through a few? I have the BCM, Umbrella Corp, and the new Magpul. All are good, but I like the new Magpul the best. |
