I have a MidwayUSA Competition Range Bag and it's been great. But it's so big it's easy to overload and make too heavy and cumbersome. So I did some organizing and decided I'd like something smaller.

I really only need to carry my ear pro, eye pro, cleaning supplies, lube, few tools, pens and notepad, targets, and some other tiny things. So what do you guys use?

Right now the only one that has really got my attention is the Tactical Tailor Medium Range Bag.

Why don't you just buy the smaller size Midway bag. I use the smaller bag for quick trips (typically pistol shooting), and the big bag for all day trips like matches and such. Jmtcw

I use a multi pouch backpack. Seriously... I hate using "range bags". It's screams, "hey look! I have firearms and am going to the range! Woohoo!". I'm more a stealth kind of guy. No pouches with mags sticking out, no targets sticking out, no molle everywhere, etc. There is a reason that the current trend is away from "tactical" looking stuff (cases, bags, backpacks) to more "covert" looking stuff (discreet cases disquised as something else, normal backpacks, etc)... anonymity is your friend. Unfortunately we live in an "anti" world now, and it's best to draw as little attention to yourself as possible (not only to avoid the sneers, but to avoid undue attention to yourself by someone who now knows you have valuable black market sellable items on your person).
