I've been reading a lot of threads about slings.  Here is my situation.

I have my first AR.  It is a DPMS Panther Oracle.  I have put on a Magpul MOE stock (couldn't find the CTR).  I would like a sling.  Main purpose of the sling would be stability and support while aiming.  I believe this means I would being using it in "2-point"??

I've read about the magpul MS3 and also recently primary arms had the Troy/VTAC 2-point padded sling on sale for $28, but it's now out of stock:

https://www.primaryarms.com/Troy-VTAC-Slings-s/2360.htm

If I go with the magpul I believe I also need to get an ASAP plate?  Also, what do I need for the front/rail of the rifle to attach the sling to?

I would appreciate simple and relatively affordable sling suggestions, including connections, etc, so I can get everything correct on the first try.

Thank you in advance.

+1 VCAS Padded Push Button Sling with sewn in QDs from riflegear.com with an IWC Split bar Triglide... you will need 2 QD adapter mounts on your rifle, 1 in the front and 1 in rear. Front I recommend the gear sector QD rail mount, in the rear I recommend a QD endplate (IWC, Noveske)
