Maybe I just having a bad night & my thinker is weak, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to thread the Boonie Packer 2P-TQA sling in my M4 stock as shown here: http://www.redi-mag.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=26 (click on "View Larger Image" for a little bit bigger picture.) Does anybody have a picture of the other side with it threaded like the link shows?
IMO I think that way would be weaker than threading around the buffer tube. That picture seems to show me that any force applied to the sling would put all the pressure from the metal keeper on the thin plastic in that area. Am I wrong in thinking that? |

Looks to be the same installation procedure as a VCAS sling.
