I am looking for a new rifle case for my AR. I really like the voodoo tactical cases, they look solid and like they will hold up for a long time. I was wondering what the difference is between the "deluxe" and the standard MOLLE case, and if anyone can comment on either one.
Deluxe Case Standard Multicam Case I am lenaing more towards the muticam case because of the buckles on the outside pouches, and I like the multicam as well. Thanks |

Anyone have a case from Voodoo Tactical? I have the second one. I think I paid around $60-$70 from Sportsmans Guide. There is some confusion on their site because depending on which search you do it may point to a case that looks exactly like that but it doesn't specify that it's a Voodoo Tactical, but I think that's what everybody's gotten when they ordered. It's made in China and it ain't Eagle Industries, but I'm happy with it. Would it hold up under field use in the military? Yeah, for awhile, assuming the zippers don't crap out. As a range bag it's more than adequate. I got the 36" with the exterior buckle pouches, and with an AR, a cheapie 9mm carbine, couple of handguns, ammo, etc it still has room but gets a little heavy. In other words it'll probably get too heavy before you run out of volume to pack stuff; it's plenty large. |
| I have the deluxe case, its not bad at all. Very rugged, lots of room for 2 rifles, rifle shotgun etc. My only complaint is that the AR mag pouches are single only, with just a teeny bit more material could have been double mag pouches, but im sure they were making them more for a variety not JUST AR 15 mags. Overall its a great looking very solid way to keep 2 guns and few pistols and all accessories needed for a field day |
