Hi all. I have just aquired my first AR (CMMG M4 LE) and have a question. First, I am 6'9' tall and to give you an idea of my length of pull, I wear a 39" sleeve length shirt. I was thinking that I could just add a stock pad to give me at least a little more nose/charging handle relief but having some trouble finding anything decent that might do the trick. I looked at SOG VLTOR but don't find any thickness spec. Limbsaver? Make a spacer of some kind myself? Could care less about recoil reduction or other "features" just length.
Would really like some suggestions of what has worked for any of you other gorillas out there. Glenn |
| I added the enhanced buttpad to a magpul moe stock and it adds .75 inches to the length of pull which was all I needed. If you want even more, consider going to a longer stock like the vltor a5 stock. The stock body itself extends past the buffer tube farther to increase length of pull. Vltor A5 |
